The Niagara Parkway at night becomes a Winter Wonderland. Three million tree and ground lights illuminate the night together with 125 animated displays. Most of the sights are on 5 kilometers of the parkway. Here you will see the famous Enchantment of Disney displays, the Dufferin Island displays, featuring the Great Canadian Outdoors, and the World Religions’ Displays.

The Rink at the Brink

At the very brink of the Horseshoe Falls is the outdoor ice skating rink. It is open daily from December 1 until the end of February. Here you will have magnificent views of the falls. Since the rink has ice-making facilities, it does not depend on cold weather to operate. It is a fun place for all ages.

SkyWheel

Enjoy the thrill of riding on the Giant SkyWheel, towering 175 feet in the air. The enclosed gondolas are warm and cozy on a winter’s day. Enjoy this world-class ride on Clifton Hill. It is Canada’s largest Ferris wheel.

There is excellent theater just a few miles away In Niagara-by-the-Lake. Check locally to see what is playing and the hours of performances. They are famous here for their Shaw Festival. If you love music, you will be happy to learn that every winter they have concerts In Niagara Falls at the new Scotia Bank Convention Center. Check the local schedules to find dates and times.
